Scripture
Bible verses are taught and reviewed
in each Sunday School class. During Junior Church time, the children enjoy occasional contests involving Bible knowledge, and solid Bible doctrines
are taught in each lesson.
Music
Children love to sing! We sing many songs each week using simple tunes with enthusiastic motions. Many of
the songs are interactive and lively,
yet still based on solid Bible truths.
Prizes
We all have a desire to be rewarded for doing well. This is a pattern of leadership that we learn from the Scriptures. God consistently reminds us of the blessings He desires to provide for His children when they have honored Him.
We have a closed Facebook group that offers all the children and their families to participate in fun challenges and contests throughout the week! By following the link above, you can “Get Connected”!
We have a combined Sunday School for children, (ages 4 up to 11) each month that has five Sundays. On that day we have the children recite their monthly memory verses, have a special craft project for them, play review games, and enjoy snack together.
Relationships
We believe that all children should have a personal relationship with God and His Word. This will help them to grow to be Godly young people that have a desire to know more about God and the Scriptures.
Matthew 19:14 But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not,
to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.
Relevance
We believe that children can see the relevance of God in their lives on a daily basis. If they come to realize God’s presence around them, they will begin to notice that He is working in them and through them as well as for them.
Deuteronomy 29:29 The secret things belong unto the LORD our God:
but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever,
that we may do all the words of this law.
Repetition
We believe children should be taught to memorize Scriptures, doctrines of God’s Word, and songs that teach Scriptural principles. Enabling to tell others not only what they believe but also why they believe it.
I Timothy 4:14 Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy,
with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery.
Resources
Many people are looking for a resource to help them to raise their children to be godly in our world today. We believe that our
Children’s ministry can be that resource to your family as you face questions and difficulties in your day to day life.
Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go:and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
